John Coyle, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Coyle earned a BS in Accounting from Providence College. He joined InvestorPlace Media (formerly known as Phillips), parent company of ChangeWave Research, in 1995 as Senior Vice President and was promoted to President of Phillips Investment Resources in 1999. Prior to joining IPM, he served as Executive Vice President and head of business and European operations for Congressional Quarterly, Inc. Mr. Coyle is currently affiliated with the Institute of Directors (London), YouthTrac Foundation, Victory Youth Centers, and the Georgetown Preparatory School Trustees.
Paul Carton, Ph.D., Vice President of Research
Dr. Carton co-founded the ChangeWave Research operation in 2000 and oversees all of its components, including data analysis and research report writing.
Dr. Carton has an extensive background in online survey research and the development of Internet research communities. Prior to joining ChangeWave in 2000 he worked as a survey researcher and consultant for the Boston-based firm of Marttila and Kiley, Inc. He was also Vice President of Research and Management Systems Inc., where he helped develop some of the first Internet communities for research and education in the US.
Dr. Carton's research has been published in a wide range of journals and publications including Nieman Reports (Cambridge, Massachusetts: The Nieman Foundation at Harvard University), Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies (Washington, DC), and Future Choices, (Washington, DC: Youth Policy Institute) – along with hundreds of news media publications. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the School of Management, State University of New York at Buffalo.
Andy Golub, Director of Operations
Mr. Golub has been with ChangeWave Research since its inception back in 2000, and is responsible for the company's survey research operations – including membership management and recruitment, data analysis and reporting, and panel assembly.
He also has extensive experience in all aspects of the survey research process – from questionnaire development to analyzing and producing reports.
Mr. Golub received a degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Mike Wrobel, Associate Director of Research
Mr. Wrobel has been conducting Internet survey research at ChangeWave for over five years – and specializes in survey development. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and formerly worked in the healthcare industry.
Jean Crumrine, Associate Director of Research
Ms. Crumrine has over two decades of experience conducting market research, including an extensive focus in the financial investing industry. She has also worked in media research and real estate development consulting.
Ms. Crumrine holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a Masters in Business Administration from University of Maryland University College. Prior to joining ChangeWave she worked for Investment Company Institute, the mutual fund industry trade association.
Michael Nocerino, Membership and Web Content Manager
Mr. Nocerino is responsible for the membership and retention aspects of the ChangeWave Research Network – including member recruitment, accreditation and quality control. He also updates and maintains ChangeWave Research websites.
Mr. Nocerino holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining ChangeWave, he was involved in internet-based marketing and sales as well as newspaper reporting.
